Comment: It turns out that in IG com, leverage applies only to currency pairs. For indices, metals, there is a so-called fixed margin percentage set by the broker. That is, you are counting on a leverage of 1:200, and the broker requires margin security of 20%.There are a lot of brokers and some of them are very bad, carefully choose a broker for yourself.

Disadvantages: Incompetent customer service

Comment: IG has an incredibly terrible customer support team. They seem not to know what they have to do. They have asked for my bank statement to confirm my deposit but until now, they’re unable to verify the bank account. Their emails to me are not clear, they’re downright incompetent. It’s a shame that this broker has been in the business since 1974. For an established company, they’re a big joke.

Advantages: quick execution, no hidden fees

Disadvantages: None for now

Comment: I’ve traded with 4 brokers over the last 6 years and I can say that IG is the best so far. Execution is so fast. No hidden fees, and I’m sure they don’t hunt stop loss. I also like that this broker offers a wide array of financial instruments, allowing me to diversify my investment portfolio. I’m very much satisfied with IG’s services and products!

Disadvantages: Steals money

Comment: IG steals money by triggering your stoploss over night way before it's reached. Overnight "would-be-winning" trades gets closed 10 pips before my actual stoploss. I let it go when it happened few times but now I have to go elsewhere. This is unacceptable.

Advantages: good spread, number of trade units, rating

Disadvantages: the brand is not very popular

Comment: I work only with this broker and do not want to look for someone else. There are good spreads, many positions for trading, everything is honest and transparent.

Advantages: Many products, not expensive, capital requirements

Disadvantages: Big spreads

Comment: Good work IG, you make me have faith in this business again even though my other brokers before were not any good. I don't like spreads that is bigger that other brokers but good there are no commissions. That is not expensive so much anyway. Actually trading is perfection, things go smoothly and it is stocked with products. Money services are also very fast, I use it every week, no problem. I like this brokers

Disadvantages: None

Comment: I love this broker and have been with them for years, they never let me down, it is one of the few ECN brokers with good spreads. They also have a reputable name in the world with hundreds of thousands of clients, you don't keep such a huge number of clients if you're unfair. I also love how many trading products they have including bitcoin and options, and you can even trade a mini bitcoin which doesn't need so much margin. Pretty much everything about IG is awesome, I can't see a better option anywhere

Advantages: Reputable company-I'm using the FCA regulated branch

Disadvantages: Higher charges, but not too high

Comment: You know a broker is honest when they give you positive slippage, and I've got this from IG several times. Other good points... their execution speed is very fast and other trading conditions good as well. My only problem is that their spreads are higher than other brokers, and they charge commission for stocks.
