Of course it depends on the trading strategy you want to automate, but competitive pricing is welcomed by everyone. b) no commission for trades. I’m not fond of commissions, although in some cases having a low spreads and relatively small commission is more preferable. But Activtrades offers tight spreads without commission anyways. c) NDD execution. Direct NDD execution of the broker will provide the fastest orders execution within your automated strategy. Sometimes it can be vital. Plus this execution type gives less slippages and other unexpected price fluctuations. The only drawback of the broker regarding the algo trading is the absence of VPS service. I can choose VPS on the internet, it’s not a problem. Nevertheless I’d like to have a VPS correlated to the Activtrades.

You have underlined all the advantages correctly. I suppose 1:200 leverage is quite a cool feature, but if you don't understand how to diversify risks correctly and don't have any risk management plan, then, perhaps you'd better stay off the idea trading with leverages at all. Or maybe just 1:10 maximum.

Comment: I am completely satisfied with this broker for trading. There are very narrow forex spreads, from 0.5 points. But not only currency pairs are available for trading, but a huge number of instruments: CFDs on stocks, ETFs, raw materials, indices, metals. There are more than 1000 positions in total. Comment: Activtrades is a nice regulated broker. I like the fact that the charges are not really big and they are transperent, so that there are no surprises for you while trading and moving the money around. Education section is dull. HOpe noone expects too much from a broker's education.

I still think that all traders need to use a lot of third party services to be fully educated. It's good that for trading there is enough of this information on the internet. As for the rest, ActivTrades does have very good spreads and the regulation ensures confidence!

Advantages: The main advantage for me is that this broker is on the market for twenty years and this fact attracted me once I searched for a new broker. Moreover, activtrades demo account is one of the most fascinating I have ever seen. It's fully free and it allows new traders to estimate all the conditions which are provided by this broker.
Disadvantages: As for drawbacks, I would note the amount of minimum deposit. It's pretty high for me and I guess it will be quite high for new traders, it's about 500$ here.

I didn’t watch that interview but I can comment on other points. I don’t find an affiliate platform an advantage because I have never earned passively this way. I have always traded manually and I think that I will continue doing this. This broker is especially good for manual trading because it offers good trading conditions. I like the fact that I don’t need to pay commissions here and also enjoy good spreads. As for IBM Cloud-based technology, I hear about it for the first time. I don’t care about it. I value the broker’s trading conditions first.

Comment: I made up my mind to trade with this brokerage company after I found their trading conditions suitable. I mostly trade currencies both majors and minors. Secondly, I appreciate their very user-friendly custom web platform Activetrader. I personally find it much better than Metatraders. For me convenience matters more than functionality. I don’t need excessive functionality at all. I just use price levels, channels and use a bunch of classical indicators available on any platform. These are Bollinger Bands, Stochastic, and MACD.
As for execution here, it’s really good. It’s probably the consequence of the broker’s regulation. As a rule, regulated brokers have good execution.
By the way, I heard that there may be an issue with an activtrades login. Well, I didn’t have such a problem.

I don’t think that they offer a very low leverage size. Not so long ago 1:100 was a normal leverage size with the vast majority of brokers. Perhaps, you are a novice trader if you don’t remember those times. Then, brokers started to raise their leverage and we saw extreme leverages such as 1:1000 or even higher. Then clampdowns from regulators broke in and we saw many brokers lowering their leverage to 1:30 or even lower. For example, in the European Union, many brokers have to provide such low leverage due to strict local regulation, So, I think that this broker’s leverage size is quite normal. It’s not either very big to be honest, but it’s not very small. It’s enough to earn steadily,especially if you open more trades to compensate for smaller leverage.
